It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Computer Engineering Department at the Near East University.
Computer Engineering is a discipline that embodies the science and technology of design, construction, implementation, and maintenance of software and hardware components of modern computing systems and computer-controlled equipment. Computer Engineering has traditionally been viewed as a combination of both computer science and electrical engineering.
Department of Computer Engineering is one of the eight departments in the Faculty of Engineering and offers Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) degrees. The medium of instruction at NEU Computer Engineering is English. Our Department was founded in 1991. Now it has grown to 320 BSc, 28 MSc and 3 PhD students with 23 teaching staff.
